Why the boat cannot always reach the door
Some canals are closed to motorboat traffic, others are too narrow or become impassable at low or high tide. Our captains always drop you as close as possible to your destination.
How to check your hotel
Look for your hotel or address in the list above. If it is there, the water taxi takes you to the closest reachable landing; if it is not, the boat stops at the landing closest to your hotel. When you book, write the hotel name or address in the trip details so the captain knows exactly where you are going.
Tide and traffic
The tide changes the water level in the canals during the day: at low or high tide some canals become impassable, others are closed to motorboat traffic by local rules. That is why the landing can change on the day: the captain always chooses the closest one that is safe.
